73-17 Speed Dryers
INTRODUCTION
For rapid drying of hand sheets after pressing, prior to evaluation. The uniformly distributed heat from the drying surface reduces the moisture content of paper samples.
Available in either 24" or 36" sizes, the Speed Dryers permit rapid drying of hand-sheets after pressing, prior to evaluation. The uniformly distributed heat from the drying surface reduces the moisture content of paper samples. The drying surface is highly polished to facilitate hand-sheet removal.

UNIQUE FEATURES
- Controls are shielded from the damaging heat of the dryer cavity.
- The dryer cavity is insulated and sealed (except for the wiring port) for better heat retention and a more stable drying surface.
- The thermocouple is mounted on the underside (center) of the drying plate.
- Full-width custom-made elements reduce heat loss at the edges.
- The mirror finish of the drying surface makes sheet removal easier.
- The "cool-to-the-touch" handle never heats up under normal operating conditions.
- Ruggedly built for years of trouble-free operation.
